1. What MKCE 360 is

MKCE 360 is a free, static web app (and an Android app that shows the same web app) that lets you explore a 3D model of the campus of M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Thalavapalayam, Karur, Tamil Nadu, India, in an overview or first-person walkthrough. It runs entirely in your browser or app. There is no back end.

2. Information that stays on your device

The app can store the following in your browser's local storage (or the Android app's WebView storage). This data lives on your device only. We never receive it, and it is not uploaded.

• Welcome screen details: an email address, a college name and a location (city or area) that you choose to type. They are used only to personalise the screens you see on this device.
• Preferences: settings such as graphics quality, run or walk speed, and whether you switched on motion (gyroscope) look.

You can leave the welcome fields empty where the app allows it. If local storage is blocked by your browser, the app still works; it just will not remember anything.

3. Device sensors and permissions

• Motion and orientation sensors (gyroscope): only if you tap the gyroscope button. On devices that require it (for example iPhone and iPad), your device will ask for permission. The readings are used instantly to turn the camera and are not stored or transmitted.
• Camera, microphone, contacts, photos, GPS: never requested.
• Fullscreen: only when you tap the fullscreen button.

4. What we do not do

• No accounts, sign-in or user profiles.
• No cookies, no analytics or crash-reporting services, no advertising networks, no social-media pixels.
• No third-party scripts, fonts, maps or CDNs are loaded while you use the app.
• We do not sell, rent or share personal information, because we do not have any.

5. Hosting and network data

The site is delivered as static files by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.) at mkce360.nraj.me. Like any web host, GitHub processes technical request data such as your IP address and browser details to serve the pages, under GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not receive this data from GitHub and do not use it. The domain name is managed through DNS settings for nraj.me.

6. Android app

The Android app is a thin wrapper that displays the same web app inside a WebView. It uses the same local storage described above, needs only internet access to load the app, and does not add any trackers or analytics of its own.

7. Your choices and control

• Delete your data: clear this site's data in your browser settings (site data / local storage), or clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Because the data is only on your device, this removes it completely.
• Revoke sensor access: use your device or browser's site-permission settings.

8. Children

MKCE 360 is intended for students, staff, parents and visitors of an engineering college. It is not directed at children under 13, and because nothing is collected we hold no information about anyone, including children.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because personal details never leave your device, there is no server-side copy to protect or leak. Anyone with access to your unlocked device or browser profile could read what is in its local storage, so use your device's normal protections.

10. Campus information

Building names, positions and other campus details shown in the app come from the college's published layout board and may be approximate or marked as unverified. They are provided for orientation only.

11. Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes what it does with data, this page will be updated first and the "Last updated" date above will change. The current version is always available at mkce360.nraj.me/privacy-policy.
